HEALTH TESTING 

​The goal of testing our Cavalier parents before breeding is to lower the risk of certain conditions.

​

• We screen for certain heart conditions with a specialist in Veterinary Cardiology.

• We screen for certain eye conditions with a specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology.

• We DNA test with a specalist labratory.

• Copies of parents health certificates are including in our puppy pack​

 

It’s well known that a number of conditions (some of which are very serious) are common in Cavaliers. When considering welcoming a cavalier into your family, its important to bare this in mind and to research not just their wonderful temperament and looks but also Cavalier health. While we cannot provide a lifetime health guarantee against any condition or illness, Parents are chosen from generations of health tested lines. We do not give breeding rights with puppies.
